No. Attendings simply scan the QR code on the intern's badge with their phone camera. The evaluation page loads in their browser — no app, no login, no account. They're identified by their phone number, which ROPE uses to track progressive evaluation depth across encounters.

It's an AI mentor trained on your specific rotation's expectations, protocols, and culture. Interns can ask questions like "What does Dr. Smith expect in a morning presentation?" or "How should I handle a precipitous delivery?" and get rotation-aware answers that go far beyond what a generic chatbot could provide.

For the pilot, we handle all content setup. Once we have your rotation's orientation materials, expectations, and evaluation priorities, we can have ROPE configured and ready in under a week. The platform is self-contained and doesn't require any integration with your EMR or institutional IT systems.

ROPE does not collect or store any patient health information. The system handles educational performance data — intern evaluations, learning milestones, and rotation completion metrics. Attending contact information is stored securely with hashed identifiers for fraud detection. We follow best practices for data security and privacy.
